You're already very good at your actual job.
BRand identity and Squarespace websites for founder-led businesses who want the online version to match.
I'm Lauren. Bathurst-based, twenty years in, including a good stretch designing for Peter Alexander, Kathmandu, Dotti and Portmans. These days that same firepower goes into brands and Squarespace websites for small businesses across regional NSW and Australia-wide.
WHAT I DO
Two things, properly.
Logo, palette, typography and a brand book you'll actually open. Built around who you are rather than who a template thinks you should be.
Brand Identity — from $2,600
Custom Squarespace and Shopify sites that look the part and convert. SEO-ready out of the box, easy to update yourself.
Website Design — from $5,600
OR both together
Most people end up here. The brand sets the direction and the site puts it to work, and doing them as one project costs less than doing them six months apart.
Why I'm Different
Twenty years, and I still get excited about this
I spent most of them inside Peter Alexander, Kathmandu, Dotti, Portmans and Spotlight. Those rooms teach you fast that design has a job to do beyond looking good. It has to sell, it has to convert, and it has to hold up on a Tuesday when everything is on fire.
That's the standard I bring to founder-led businesses now. Same rigour, different scale, and none of the agency overhead. You're not paying for an account manager, a design director, a junior and a studio in Surry Hills. You get me on every call.
Built for the businesses Bathurst actually has.
Brand identity and Squarespace websites for tradies and builders, wellness practitioners, cafes, restaurants and pubs, and interior designers, architects and design-led studios across Central West NSW.
What People Are Saying
Lauren brought Worship Me to life visually in a way I genuinely didn’t think was possible. The branding feels sacred and sensual, polished and powerful.
If you’re a founder with a bold vision and a brand that doesn’t fit in a box, Lauren is your person. She doesn’t water things down - she elevates them.

WHY SQUARESPACE?
Squarespace is image-forward, fast on every device, and genuinely made for businesses whose work is visual. That suits almost everyone I work with.
It also means you keep control. Adding a project, changing your hours, swapping a photo: two minutes, no code, no invoice, no waiting on someone else's inbox. You own the account from day one and you get a handover session at launch so you actually know how to use it.
I'm a Squarespace Circle member and I use custom code where the built-in settings run out, which is how a Squarespace site stops looking like a Squarespace site.
Your Questions, Answered
-
Brand first, almost always. A website is your brand applied to a screen, so settling the brand means you choose your fonts once and pay for them once. If your logo is already strong and it's the site holding you back, we start at the site. If both need work, we do them together and it lands cheaper than splitting them across two projects. I'll tell you which one you're in on the first call.
-
Then I got the brief wrong and we go again. That's the job. It rarely happens though, because I don't vanish for three weeks and reappear with a big reveal. You see direction early, while it's still cheap to change, so by the time you're looking at real concepts you already know what's coming and you're excited about it.
-
Sometimes, and I'll tell you honestly which. I audit what you've got first, design and content both, and I look at your analytics rather than guessing. If you're on Squarespace and the bones are decent, it's usually a redesign rather than a rebuild. If you're on WordPress without a developer on speed dial, it's usually a rebuild in Squarespace and you'll sleep better for it. Either way you get the real answer, not the one with the bigger invoice attached.
-
I don't, and here's what that's built on rather than just my word for it. Weekly check-ins so you always know exactly where things sit. Everything built in your own Squarespace account, in your name, so you own it from day one and nothing lives on my server. A clean handover at launch so you can run it yourself. I answer everything inside one business day, including the ones that start with "sorry, quick question". If you've been left holding a half-finished site by someone who stopped replying, you already know why all of that matters.

Not even slightly. I'm in Bathurst, but a good chunk of my clients are in Brisbane, Perth and Newcastle and I've never met most of them in person. What you get out of the postcode is senior-level work without paying for an account manager, a design director, a junior and a studio in Surry Hills. Same standard, different overhead.
Ready when you are
A quick call to talk through what you're building and what would actually help. No pitch, no pressure, and you'll leave knowing what you need whether or not it's me.
I aim to reply to everything within one business day.
